Bamileke Hats

We are your source for the most unique headwear you'll find anywhere. Working with friends in Cameroon, we've obtained a shipment of these very special handmade hats, each one unique. They are created by the Bamileke people, the largest ethnic group in Western Cameroon. In Bamileke society the hats signify power, class, leadership, and prosperity. We can attest to their power—everyone who sees one, wants one!

Each hat is $65.

Order through our donation page, and include your

size in the notes field. To measure for hat size, place

a measuring tape around the back of your head to

the tops of your ears, joining the tape at a point

one inch above your eyebrows.
